This is Fred Jr. His father is my father's brother and his mother is my mother's sister. So he's a first cousin of mine, but especially genetically* related to me since both of his parents are siblings of my parents. Fred was raised in white suburbia by his Mexican mother and white stepfather (Valencia and Santa Barabara, respectively).

My siblings and I really don't know our 1st cousin Reno or any of our other 1st cousins, for that matter. I've seen him about 10 times in my life. The last time was at my father's funeral (2014).
