BECAUSE THEY AVOIDED BEING DETECTED AND CAUGHT, PEOPLE WERE LESS LIKELY TO REPORT CRIME AT THAT TIME (THE 70s AND 80s IN PARTICULAR), AND LAW ENFORCEMENT DIDN'T ENFORCE THE LAW LIKE THEY DO NOW (FOR INSTANCE M.A.D.D. DIDN'T EXIST, SO DRINKING WHILE INTOXICATED WASN'T HEAVILY ENFORCED).

Why I'm suicidal. I've fallen in social status and socioeconomic status and don't see myself regaining that status.
